Betsy Silvester began her marketing career over twenty years ago, after receiving a BA in Communications from the University of Wisconsin. Originally, the bright lights of a big city lured her to a job at Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) in Chicago. While there, she guided the planning and execution of market research tests- for numerous Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods companies including Kraft, General Foods, Hershey, Proctor & Gamble and General Mills. Later, the peace and solitude of the Rocky Mountains brought her to Boulder, Colorado where she joined Sterling-Rice Group. There she led marketing initiatives for consumer, medical and high tech brands including Datex-Ohmeda, Nature's Recipe Pet Foods, Heinz Baby Food, OmegaTech (Gold Circle Farms Eggs), Achieve.com Communications and Horizon Organic. Betsy now finds she has become a part of the most sought after demographic group: the soccer mom. While her two small children keep her busy, she still makes time to team up with Tango.
