Priscilla Pritchard grew up in Connecticut, hoping to be the first person to land on the moon. Evenings spent in her backyard gazing at the heavens and watching Sputnik fueled her imagination. After enduring 8th grade math, her dreams of science and space travel came to a screeching halt, and Priscilla's imagination
turned to more artistic pursuits.
She majored in Art History at Wells College where she discovered she was talented at both the visual and the verbal. Over the years, she's learned three foreign languages and is fluent enough to be able to argue with taxi drivers in Italian, French and German. A big help during her many travels for work and pleasure.
Her early career includes Director of New Product Development for Heublein, Inc. (now Diageo). She also spent time at Hamilton Beach, developing new small appliances and learning the ins and outs of electric motors. In 1989, she and her husband moved to Bermuda for his work. With their two small children in tow, they were able to enjoy a bit of British culture and immerse themselves in their love for sailing. Bermuda led her to a job where she could utilize some of her creative and verbal skills as an independent consultant. In her "spare" time, she also helped start a Montessori School. Life truly was a beach.
In 1995, she moved with her family to Colorado and was hired by Sterling-Rice Group where she further developed her passion for experience-based marketing, especially in the areas of new product development and positioning. During her 11 years as a partner at SRG, she pioneered new techniques in qualitative research and consumer experience insights, both domestically and internationally. Her clients included Rubbermaid, Kimberly-Clark, Johnson & Johnson, Bernina, Mead-Johnson, Georgia-Pacific, Pfizer, Unilever, Gerry Baby Products, Earth's Best Baby Food, McCormick, Heinz, Kellogg's, Ore-Ida, General Mills/Betty Crocker, Quaker, Pepsi, Whirlpool, SC Johnson, Diageo and Beringer Wine Estates.
At Tango Strategy, Priscilla knows the sky's the limit when it comes to what's possible for her clients. Her stellar background, and her eagerness to go above and beyond, is what it takes to launch new brands or take old brands to new heights.
